Primary - Writing Challenge 2 - Persuasive Writing

This online course allows students to explore 5 persuasive writing topics/questions over the span of 5 consecutive weeks. This is a scheduled course and given the age range of the students, parents and carers are expected to provide reminders regarding task due dates. Once the student enrols into the program, their course will start the following Monday. Students will be assigned with a persuasive writing topic/question each Monday. Each weekly task requires about 60 minutes of working time and students are expected to submit the finished piece by the end of Friday evening. Marking and feedback will be processed over the weekend. Students are expected to apply the recommendations from the feedback progressively in their following tasks. In cases where the student's response is very weak, he/she may be advised to submit an upgraded version immediately after the feedback. Students are expected to type their responses in the links/sections provided. Minimum word count should be 400 words. This is a scheduled program and students/parents must follow the schedule strictly. No extensions/rescheduling/cancellations will be available under any circumstances after enrolment. At any given time, no more than 10 students will be enrolled in this program.
